About
Elwood is a suburb of Melbourne under the municipality of City of Port Phillip. The suburb comprises a mix of Interwar apartment buildings, Victorian mansions and Edwardian cottages that have leafy streets of London Plane trees.

Sherwood Hall is a large Victorian mansion that was built between 1890 and 1891 by David Askew. It is listed in the Port Philip Heritage List in 1998. La Tourette flats is one of the large blocks of interwar apartments located in Brighton Road.
